The Deportation Defense Manual created for Make the Road NY provides information, resources, and a guide to creating a plan of action to protect targeted communities against hyper enforcement perpetuated by ICE (“la Migra”). The Manual is split into 3 Main selections with an Annex; there is an English and Spanish copy. This manual is a resource for individuals who are being impacted by the escalation of immigration enforcement activity, and for individuals who are interested in becoming a support person for those affected. The Manual uses illustrations and colorful gradients to provide relief from the heavy material.
